These protein balls can be made in either a thermomix or food processor, if you don’t eat ghee you can easily replace with virgin cold pressed coconut oil.
They are great for kids lunch boxes as they are nut free, you can also omit the protein powder or use whichever brand you like. I have used Raw Fermented Paleo protein by Amazonia.
1 cup of fresh or dried dates
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
2 tablespoons organic ghee (or coconut oil)
2 tablespoons amazonia vanilla paleo protein powder
Put all the above ingredients into a food processor or thermomix and blend until sticky and crumbly then roll into balls around the size of a ping pong ball.
Store in fridge for uo to a week (if they last that long!)
Makes around 10 serves
